Dillon Fitton
I'm a bicoastal cinematographer, editor, photographer and creative producer currently based in Orlando. Over the past fifteen years I have lived and worked in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, and Santa Fe working in television, event videography, documentary, educational content creation, live performance documentation, and experimental narrative--both independently and with production companies including Lincoln Square Productions (the non-fiction production company of Disney ABC Television/ABC News), Big Think (the leading educational YouTube channel), and more. In addition, I design audio and media for immersive theatre and installations, work in scenic fabrication, and develop my own independent film projects with a rotating team of collaborators.
In my photography practice, I focus on the beauty of the natural world. Along with shooting digitally, I shoot medium format on a Mamiya RB67 and a 1920s Zeiss Ikon. I'm happiest when I can trek far into the wilderness to see what I can bring back on film. As a cinematographer and filmmaker, my work revolves around human interactions with the natural, mysterious, and unknown.
